Lost Preview: Ab Aeterno

This episode is gonna be awesome because 1.) Its the first ever Richard Alpert episode! and 2.) It’s six minutes longer then usual! Judging by this promo, it looks like this episode will give a couple answers. I have a feeling that this could be the episode where we start to learn about the flash-sideways and how it relates to the island storyline.

We should learn about Ricard’s backstory, maybe we will even get to see him arrive on the black rock! If Ricard Alpert has a flash-sideways storyline my head might explode.

According to Wiki Ab Aeterno is a Latin phrase that translates to “Literally, “from the everlasting” or “from eternity”. Thus, “from time immemorial”, “since the beginning of time” or “from an infinitely remote time in the past”. In theology, often indicates something, such as the universe, that was created outside of time.” So, I guess we should find out some pretty big details about the show’s mythology. This should be good.

    • I can’t say that this season has been bad, it may be my least favorite season right now, but I have faith the writers will make the first half of this season mean a lot more after some kind of revelation in the connection between the flash-sideways and the island storyline. Sawyer was kinda douchey, I don’t think he had to have intercourse with that woman for detective purposes, that’s ridiculous. And what he did on the island wasn’t too douchey, idk, what he did was pretty smart, but he does act douchey a lot 🙂

  1. I was just referring to the way he was being all gruff and doing whatever Lockemonster wanted him to do (“Take this canoe out to the island and find an airplane and see if there are people there.” “Okay.”) no questions asked. And I’m pretty sure it isn’t even allowed to sleep with the person you are investigating, especially when your back-up is LISTENING IN. Gross.

And I too think (hope) that there will be a big pay off by the end, I know they can totally trick me and make it all worth it, but that doesn’t mean I can’t complain a little right now…
